in the Department of Youth No XX/XXXX-XXXXX/2009 your complaint in which you are referring to the Fair Juvenalia and speaks of "the campaign WAR IS NOT A GAME as an initiative by the Assembly of Madrid Antimilitarista that "Several years ago, seeks out the army and the armed forces of that fair as well as the other children and youth fairs found throughout the English State."
First, I want to thank that we have communicated, through the Office of Citizen Services, your suggestion and I am pleased to inform-about-that the last thirteenth edition of Juvenalia has been the largest trade show entertainment, sports, music and innovation technology for young people in Madrid, carried out so far.
In order, by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Department of the Community of Madrid, to offer young people many leisure activities, technology, music and sport, and they were varied and complementary yes, they presented each of the exhibition halls interactive activities so that they could know pem entertainment and technology, with workshops to promote digital entertainment, sport, education and culture. Also
counted with the presence and participation of the Community institutions diferenctes Madrid and Madrid City Council, to provide youth services, among which we mention the Fire Department of the Community of Madrid, the emergency center 112, the Local Police Academy, the Special Brigade of the BESCAM, Forestry agents, Drug Enforcement Agency, as well as the Directorate of Immigration, Volunteering and Social Development, European Affairs and Cooperation with the State, Archives and Libraries, among others. Also, young attendees Juvenalia, learned about the activities presented, by among others the National Government and the Ministry of Defence and the Civil Guard.
And, moreover, offers other sports activities for those attending Juvenalia 2007 (sic) such as: tennis, badminton, chess, basketball, handball, indoor football, hockey (sic), judo and skiing.
Ultimately, Juvenalia plural is a fair and inclusive, innovative and quality, which requires the cooperation and participation of different entities that offer services to youth in Madrid.
Therefore, I can confirm that the activities presented in Juvenalia have been, as you point out they have to be in this type of fair-play, cooperative, non-violent, in addition to training, technology and innovation.
