We are in the midst of a now tainted by bloodshed in various parts of the world, and in various directions. A historical context of continuous changes triggered by power struggles, battles for control of the globalization process, and ultimately, violence entitled to the construction of projects of domination more or less innovative.
The Paths of War us to the social phenomena that revolve around War and Peace. But never give an approach opposed to War and Peace, on the ideological plane as part of the same project of domination. Peace is not defended that achieved with violence the most developed, and maintained with the utmost vigilance. Peace Not that speaks of keeping the body intact social injustices and inequalities that underpin it and just serve to fuel and perpetuate the military structure as well, wars and projects domination.
This book starts with Article Teaching History is: Educating for War? which addresses how the educational field, teaching of history and a certain peace, merely legitimize ideological wars of Power and Power.
It also includes War to the War , materials for working the issue from the standpoint of education and aims to create awareness on the issue of War and Peace in the current society.
The Paths of War is the second volume in the series WITHOUT BORDERS: Journal of Communication, Education and Society . In this series we intend to develop two lines of work: first we provide documents for social thought and debate, and propose other materials for analysis and educational activities. The aim is to create a scenario that allows for critical reflection on various subjects. From this space we want to offer ideas to assist in the development of a freer, more equal and fair.
